sonic r should be on the list.... and sonic the fighters, and 3d blast. and a few more. aww hell, why not just stick the whole series (apart from a few good games) in??
in fact, some of the fan games are better! (im over emphasising this by the way)

I voted for next gen...why? simply because..Sonic game + a random princess = Mario with speed >_> (but in a cooler form)

I don't think that's quite it...
Maybe its like the Zelda series, with the Oracle games, how they were gonna be three at first but the third one got cut.

Why would you even put Sonic CD up there? It's one of the best. Sonic Boom alone puts it head and shoulders over others.

If time travel and good music had that much impact on a game's quality, Sonic 06 would be amazing.
