Honestly, people never get it...
Roleplays about yourself - BORING
Roleplays about video games (scripted (Following the whole game from start to finish, no creativity) No fan characters) - Lame
Roleplays about video games (scripted Fan characters replacing official character) - Worse
Roleplays about stuff you can already do - Terrible
Roleplays about completely nothing - REALLY bad

Or any of these mixed are bad.

Roleplays I like are ones that either have a custom story, or, if you have to have it based on a game/movie/TV show, have it be something like, AFTER, or BEFORE, or WHILE IT WAS HAPPENING AT A DIFFERENCE PLACE... not replacing the official characters! Or just using official characters.

Take, Death Egg Rising... 100% custom story, its not based on anything, and its not totally random.
Or, my Sonic Underground roleplaying site. It happens AFTER Sonic Underground, and its not random.
