but she told me that the last time she took them she cut herself so bad that she almost died(about 5 months before she met me)

What I mean is that the more she trusts you, the more you love her. This type of love: comforter/needs comforting... is an incredibly powerful love. I truly hope Lisa sees God shine bright through you, and in turn, learns the truth of the hope that God brings.
