they are far from cheap.. my bw deck cost over $300 to build and its still not finished... but you get what you paid for... i this case.... a hard to beat deck. but i almost never play it.

and the ghost rare is so amazing... the image is 3d!!! lol

I meant cheap as in they are almost unfair.

Also, that only further proves than you have to pay through the nose to be good at Yu-Gi-Oh!

you dont have to.... i built an exodia FTK deck for under $100... but its a 50% ftk.... and too inconsistent to play in a tournament

the reason why its expensive is because of supply and demand... the "good cards" are expensive so people make alot of money.... but the funny thing is.... my water deck will cost less than $50 when i finish it and will slaughter blackwings, lightsworns, infirnity, fabled.... pretty much all top tier decks. and i will laugh.

those i listed are top tier decks.... the kings of dueling.... i dont care much for newer cards either... once i finish my blackwings and water  im done buying cards... ill sell all my cards and decks and keep my blackwings

I'm getting new cards today. I'm getting the 2008 & 2009 Starter Decks, the Stardust Dragon and Majestic Star Dragon Tins, and maybe Duelist Packs Yusei, Yugi, and Yusei 2. My cuz in RI is getting me a Battle City Duel Disk from Ebay. I'm getting some Deck Boxes, some sleeves, an Ultra Pro Collectors Binder, some mats for the playmat, the three Egyptian god cards, the sacred god cards, maybe some Exodia cards, Starter Deck Evolution Yugi, Starter Deck Jaden, The 5Ds Warriors Strike Structure Deck, and that's it.

I bought myself some Majestic Star Dragon sleeves for mahself and a machine dragon deck box all for me. I'm getting the decks tomorrow. I may get the original Duel Disk, original Acadamy Duel Disk, the Slifer Red Acadamy Duel Disk (available only in Japan), or the Yusei Hybrid Duel Disk (only available in Japan) if my cuz gets it for me from Ebay.
