What do you like to see in video games?

So, I might be starting up a few RPGVX projects soon, and I was just wondering what you guys like to see in a good game. Anything at all. Doesn't matter if it's a good storyline or a slutty chick with revealing clothes. I want to know what I should focus on.

I know there's a good few topics like this, but opinions change over time, so...yeah. x3

Personally, I LOVE boss battles. From both, creator and player, standpoints.

Although these absolutely fucking do my head in, in games, parts where you have to fight 2 or 3 bosses in a row. Without healing in between. But can be overcome by some sort of stratagy (differing for each usually, hence why my blast the fuck outa them stratagy fails at these points.)
Also side bosses, you know that arn't in the main storyline but are fuckloads more difficult that the final boss... yes I like a good challenging boss, hence my love of final fantasy 13. Those one hit ko bosses are so much fun 8D


Urmm MAGES yes magiccccc <3 especially the big flash ones that are way overpowered but you can only cast like once or twice per battle yeah those totally own. xD

Also if possable, instead of the usually lvling up system of chars where everyone gets the same stats, how about being able to choose the stats you upgrade if you know what I mean, just a bit more freedom in the way your chars are.


But don't worry I am not fussy *shotdead*

Oh and cynical badasses like agent tex from red vs blue are also good. And slutty pirate bosses o3o or Bitches like Rondo from eternal sonata. She is just badass without even trying, unlike some other chars who try way too hard to be pfft.

Well beside good game play, I like to have a good storyline that can catch my interest and keeps me playing the game to see how it all ends.

Plotline is a must.  :3
Uh, I LOVE challenges.  Like, puzzles to unlock paths for you to continue forward.
Music has to be decent.  Can't play without decent music.
I like easy controls.  Not some shit where you have to hit 398443290482390 buttons to flippin' JUMP.
I also like having a choice on character stat customization, like if they're going to be more offensive, defensive, use melee attacks, magic, etc.
