if you refer to xbox360, they don't suck they just have that RedRingOfDeath wich is a pain in the posterior part of the human body, but overall the console is pretty good

Although in the newer consoles the fault that frequently caused the ring of death was fixed. For all those lucky people who decided to wait a while before buying it 8D

and yeah, 360's arn't rubbish, because they can play the same games as the ps3 (apart from a few E.G. Final fantasy 14 which is a ps3/PC exclusive online game >.<) and they are a hell of alot cheaper than a ps3. I have even found the games to be cheaper for it :/

well the scart lead comes with 6 ends (cause of the hd) but you can just use the normal ones (red white yellow) for a normal TV. I know this cause I don't have an HD tv. :3 HD on certain games would look totally awesome though.

I had a dinosaur TV (like it didn't even have the green/blue hookups...it's like 15 years old rofl) and my 360 worked fine.

And I didn't buy mine.
It was a Christmas gift.  :3

But still.
I agree with Nighty.  Games are much cheaper and they play pretty much the same ones, apart from things like LBP and such.  Not to mention it's cheaper, and it works just as well if you keep it maintained (which I really need to clean mine and get an intercooler, that reminded me rofl)

Make sure you change the "HDTV" switch on the part of the cable that plugs into the 360, to "TV", otherwise it wont work.

ok thanks everyone, I asked because I saw it in a shop, and was almost as cheap as the wii, and since I'm thinking of getting a part time job someday, in 4 months I'll be able to buy one
