I want to see better physics (yes really), new bosses and badniks, and Tails. I seriously think they are going to do what they did in the past Sonic 1 had just Sonic (duh), the they introduced Tails in S2, and Knuckles in S3.

Sonic the Hedgehog 4 is set shortly after its predecessor Sonic & Knuckles; in the game, the main protagonist Sonic destroys Doctor Eggman's space station, the Death Egg. With the Death Egg destroyed and Angel Island returned to the sky, Sonic decides that it is time to take a break. After parting with Tails and Knuckles, he sets off to explore new territories alone; however, unbeknownst to him, his nemesis Dr. Eggman has survived their last encounter, and has revisited and rehashed some of his "very best" robotic creations in another attempt to defeat Sonic. and there are some quotes in 3D Sonic games that tells them about their past adventures like what Knuckles said from Heroes.

"These mushrooms are like the ones on my island" if my memory serves me right. That tells about Angel Island of course which means they've been there before.

Also the Metal robots in the capsules in SADX, Metal Sonic and Silver Sonic, shows proof that they were kept safe by Eggman after their struggles in the past.

I would basically only care for Sonic, Tails, Knux, or Shadow, to me, Shadow never actually ruined anything for me, as for the newer ones, if Sega adds them, then i'm sending the Cuccos on all of the developers asses.

Why is it a problem is characters are added?
