This site is very helpful for:
1.  References.  If you like to draw, there are many pictures here for you to look and reference off of.
2.  Graphics.  I use this site if I need any Sonic artwork for signatures, banners, etc.
3.  Anything you would really need artwork for.  Sometimes, people like to take transparent PNGs and make them avatars.

Whatever you need it for, this is the largest (that I've seen) archive on the web for Sonic artwork.  It hasn't been updated in forever, but it still works.
