I'm a real asshole in real life
I just got off my summer job, and from the feedback I have gotten from my co workers and my boss, I am a brutally honest, selfish jackass, who would even laugh at the sight of a child in pain.
And y'know what? They say that's what they like about me, and that they could use a guy like me full time and actually encouraged me to work another week. Of course I just laughed and they could understand I meant no

Even so, I'm not sure I should feel happy that I'm approachable... And sort of a chick magnet...
Or unhappy about how much of a dick I am, and didn't realize until I went to work...

Well i suppose it's simple as that, isn't it? Start caring. You don't have to immerse yourself in every problem, but maybe take things a little more seriously.
