It'll be after the Wii U's release, simply because as soon the AAA Titles start to come out, sales will rise.

The NES, Super NES, N64, Gamecube and Wii never had any updates. Except for the Wii's DVD drive updates but of course that doesn't count. (Correct me if I'm wrong about any of that) and the GBC also didn't get any amirite? (Or VB.. lololol)

They had a bunch of other stuff... & Wii has WM+. Thats just the Controleller though, but thats not the point here.

But i know what you mean. I can't see Nintendo changing the 3DS at all any time soon though.  I mean, it's pretty much as big as the DSi as it is.
