Bronies need to be accepted? They aren't looked down upon that much. They're not in the same position that, say, blacks and homosexuals used to be in (and are sometimes still in).

Anyway, the idea behind this fandom is that we shouldn't be pushy. We shouldn't force it down people's throats. We like it, but we realize there's a lot of people that don't and a lot of people think its weird that we like it. If you want to know why we like it, we'll tell you, if you don't we're not going to beat you over the head with it. Its fine if you don't like it. Anyone that DOES start getting defensive about it isn't a brony, or they at least don't know anything about the fandom they're claiming to be a part of. They're just on the bandwagon. They just like it because its popular and they'll be making fun of it once the fad dies down. I've never even talked to someone that was really defensive about it. I think those people are just a really vocal minority.

Keep in mind that bronies are all about love and tolerance. :3
