Contrary to popular belief Sonic is not as big as you wish he was. That's why Sonic Boom became a thing in the first place. It could just be kids in my area but from my experience most kids in Sonic's "target demographic" didn't even know he existed before Sonic Boom.

I'm sure that little stuff like letting you play as someone other than a white guy could go a long way.

Once again you fall into the same pit as so many other critics. It's easy to suggest a way to accomplish something. It's harder to figure out how to go about accomplishing it.

No franchise needs it, but too many games have you playing as just a white guy so we could use more games that let you play as someone else.

Despite the fact that it shouldn't matter there are plenty of games that give you options.

I don't think it would be that hard. Nintendo's pretty good at it.

A little more diversity never hurt anything. And there really aren't that many AAA games that let you create your own character.

Not every game needs to offer a character creator, I'm just saying that the majority of AAA games have you playing as white men and some more diversity could help with the appeal of videogames as a whole.

You know what else would help with the appeal of the industry? If it merged with the porn industry. I guarantee you sales would increase if Amy Rose and Lara Croft got nude but that's not me saying that it needs to happen either.
