Forum Cleaning, & Optimization

Today I did some much-needed forum maintenance, including deleting over 30,000 inactive members, optimized tables, and implemented a new, & improved registration CAPTCHA system to prevent spambots from registering. I guarantee we will still see bots from time-to-time, but it should cut it back drastically. After doing this, your forum browsing experience should now be at least double the speed it was before. Please leave feedback and let me know if things have improved for you!

I like the upped speed, but I find it somewhat amusing that I had to delete a spambot post on a topic that explains how the forum will supposedly lower spambot activity. xD

Definitely noticed a considerable increase in speed whilst bumbling around the forums.. Good work, sir!
Also, hopefully that 'CAPTCHA' system will slow down those dumbots a bit.

It wont stop them all but it should help!

Loading time is so much faster.
Sometimes, the forum was so slow that it wouldn't load at all.

Topic bump one month later:

Even more spambots than usual. $:-\$ Forum doesn't freeze up as much as it originally did. Speed is normal. And Moderation is optimal.

Forum is running much more smoothly for me. Death to the spam bots. This is sparta etc etc...
