4Kids Yu-Gi-Oh! Dub Denies Characters Death and Send Them to Hell

Sending people to hell is scary and just plain creepy.
Killing someone just gives the viewers poker faces and say "fdsfaj fuck you [insert villian name here]"

There's a part in the show where the loser would have his legs chopped off by rotating blades. 4Kids made them spinning discs of light that sent your soul to the Shadow Realm.

I should probably start watching it.

I had only seen parts of the 4kids dub and that made it look like some dumb kids show.

During the second season of 5D's (the Dark Signers arc), I can't count how many people died BY NAME.
Let's also not forget pretty much the majority of Satellite "died" (their souls were used as offerings), and a few hundred people in Neo Domino City had the same fate.

I liked the part where that guy was hung on-screen by a spider...and that guy that got eaten alive by a card monster.
