Capcom X SEGA X Namco: Project X Zone

So a friend on GoW (Jordan for those of you who know him) posted information about the press conference Nintendo had yesterday and one thing stood out from the rest in my head:

Namco, Capcom, and Sega are teaming together to make a 3DS game. No one knows what it is, but I wouldn't be surprised if its a fighter.

I haven't heard anything about this until now. Maybe you have. Post your thoughts anyway. Sonic, Pac and Mega in one game sounds almost as Godly as Smash.

...Also there's a few new trailers for Kid Icarus, a Mario Tennis 3DS debut trailer, confirmation that Final Story and Fire Emblem are coming here and Game Gear games confirmed for the 3DS E-Shop but no one cares about those. *shot*

I'd also be fine if SEGA was heading the project and it was actually All Stars Racing 2.

F-Zero (? Efu Zero?) is a series of futuristic racing video games originally created by Nintendo EAD with multiple games developed by outside companies.

Oh no, I love F-Zero, but this is the first time that I know of that the four major companies I've loved since child birth have come together for one game. To me it seems like a waste to base it all on any single franchise.

Edit: It's not very likely, but they may be referencing Smash Bros. 3DS, and if that's true we could see Mario, Sonic, Megaman and Pac-Man all in a single game.
