I think that spammers are like criminals.

They are always going to exist, we all wish they didn't, but we have to fight them anyway.

They might be trying to ruin this site's rep, but that's part of why we're advertising this site!
We have to fight the spammers on every front!

So whadda ya say...

I decided to go away for a few days,and soo many ppl got away with spamming?

Yeah even if your not gonna be on for a while we can still stop those spammers.

Hey, fellow SPAMBUSTAHZ and otherwise anti-spammers, I have an odd suggestion to make.

What if we attempted to 'convert' the spammers into regular members?
It sounds really crazy, I know, but what if it worked?
This site would have more members (to prevent moar spammers, ironically) and our rep would go up!
What do you guys think of this idea?

Rather than commenting SPAM! on every post they make, we respond with a joke or other comment to start a conversation. To give them a reason to come back and stop spamming. For Example:
Topic: How did you become a Mario fan?

spammer: MARIO 64 ROKS! LOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOL  
SPAMBUSTAH member: Okay....Can you get more specific?


Now granted, it might be...

...but just think of the possiblities!
If it works, we could build an entire army of anti-spammers to de-spammify the site!

Do you think that after they spam a topic,when u reply to them,do u really believe they will ever go back to that topic?

Who was the last person that joined and stayed here? I can estimate that about 90% of noobs leave after they get 50 posts. And that about 80% of these noobs are spammers. You can't really convert spammers. You can convert people who were just here for the downloads but are nice. Spammers don't care about anyone apart from themselves. So it is almost impossible to make spammers nice.
