You don't even need the comparison to see that the load times on the PS3 version are ridiculous.

It isn't even the port, it's the rig.

the PC version is obviously going to load faster considering it's loading from the hard drive rather than a disc. And all of generations files are in 3 big .cpk's so that helps the loading time by a lot.

Even the DLC versions of SG load slower than on PC, the consoles' hard drives just really suck.

So yeah.

But in general, for a video game, the loading times are still horrible.

hell i even played UMvC3 on a PS3 system recently and it was lagging offline. OFFLINE. When i played it on my 360 later that day no framerate problems

Multiplat games quite often suck on PS3. As for companies who actually KNOW how to use the Cell processor.. that's another story.

When I say they suck, I mean they're basically exactly the same with a few lost frames and a bit of extra AA.

But god... sometimes it's worth it. Some 360 games tear like FUCK.

As I was about to say; I own the 360 version of Sonic Generations and it loads very fast compared to the PS3 version my friend has.
