You come home after a piece o shit day. With one really nagging problem you just can't seem to deal with, and it's driving you mad. You find your significant other smiling at you and asks "How was your day honey?". You both sit down and you try to explain to him/her your problem as best you can.

What would you like his/her response to be?
Would you want him/her to give you moral support, to edge you on so that one day you may conquer this problem yourself?

Or would you want him/her to come up with a solution and solve your problem for you?
