At TGS Sega confirmed that they have a huge team working on a brand-new Single-Player Phantasy Star.
The, admittely, outsourced project is being developed by tri-ace who you might know as the developers of the "Star Ocean" series and "Resonance of Fate".




The Game is set to launch exclusivly for PS Vita in 2014. (In Japan)

But tbh I never know what to think of the phantasy star series, I liked the early games, and the gamecube card revolution games yet not whichever phantasy star I had on the 360. I just couldn't get into it at all.

I was excited when I read the title. It looks nice, but it doesn't seem like being any different from Online and since it's for a very expensive portable console my excitement died.
I'd like to see the classic ones remade with the graphics and gameplay of these, because it seems that all their imagination is nowhere to be seen.
I liked Universe, but the inability to pause the game and extremely long dungeons that took me hours to complete killled it for me.
