It about Not-Light Yagami facing Not-Battle Royale Situations.

"Not-Light Yagami is an unemployed 22-year-old who lives with his mother. In the real world, there may be nothing really special about him, but online, he's one of the world's top players of the combat game called Btooom!. One day, Not-Light Yagami awakes in what appears to be a tropical island, though he has no memory of how or why he has come to be there. While wandering around, Not-Light Yagami sees someone and calls out for help. The stranger responds by throwing a bomb at him. Ryōta soon realizes both that his life is in danger and that he has somehow been trapped in a real-life version of his favorite game."

To be honest, considering the premise and name of the title...
I expected something completely stupid.
S' actually pretty good. At least, the first episode is.
I have only just seen the first episode today and that scene happened.
Though, its pretty obvious it was inspired by Battle Royale.
But lets just kindly ignore that fact, like we did for The Hunger Games.

Its based off a Manga - And a Btooom! Manga Volume has 388 Pages, it seems.
I wanna buy it just for that generous amount of pages. The Anime only covers the first Volume.

But, (in case you have no clue what Battle Royale is) I would not suggest this to you wind.
I'm pretty sure everyone, aside from Not-Light Yagami, will die.
