Welp, this sucks.

So I recently came across a crippling computer bug. Upon trying a System Restore it failed and, in the process, decided it would be fun to merge every problem I've ever fixed into one heaping pile of fuck it all.

So I'm afraid my only option now is to reinstall Windows. I'm only telling you guys this because I don't know how long it'll take me to get everything up and running again. I'll probably at least have Skype back at the end of the day but then I gotta reinstall Steam, redownload my saves, download all my PokeBrawl files, ect.

I'll post back here telling you guys if I fix the problem or when all is said and done so until then see ya~

Well it's 2 in the afternoon and I still have to upload everything I care about. Not only that but afterwards I have to redownload Chrome among many, MANY other things.

It's not so much that I'll be gone until Windows is restored but that I won't really be free until everything is back to normal.

When I reinstalled Windows it didn't take more than a day to get everything (mostly) back to normal. Although in Windows 8 they made reinstalling the OS quicker and easier.

Fun fact: I got problems simillar to this so many times, that I think I became a Pro at reinstalling Windows.

You don't have an external hard drive you can put everything on? Seems like a pain in the ass to have to upload everything and then download them all later.

Nope. I have CDs but last time I tried that they didn't work for some reason.
Speaking of Google Drive, though, I left my computer up all night last night and I STILL wasn't able to upload everything. Not to mention that Irene got so hot that it was painful to touch near her vent so I had to shut her down for a day.

Either way I've thought about it more and a factory reset seems like a really big step to take, especially considering the fact that there's so much I want to keep, so instead what I'm just going to do it work to clear my PC of whatever viruses it may have and restore it to working order manually. I don't have the patience to wait two more days for Google Drive.
