Sleeping Dogs

With the recent announcement of a Remaster of Sleeping Dogs, I wanted to ask if anyone has played this? If you have not, you should pick up this edition, which is coming to PS4, XB1 and ofcourse PC.

It's one of my favourite games of the last generation. Def. in my top 5.

I own it on PC. It's a very fun game.

Probably the 'It has only just begun' sequence

That, and the fact that we didn't get to make a choice.

Cause if I recall correctly, I remember the marketing for this game was that you were to choose to continue being a cop and bust the gangs, or become a gangster yourself.
At first I was like, "Yeah, I'll stay a cop and be the good guy", but then the gang your partner with turn out to be really cool people, and I kinda didn't want to turn on them, so I was hoping for it to be a thing where you really did have to pick your side, but NOPE, they eliminate that choice by just killing all of them :U

That, and I don't get how the dating system works, you get the girl's number, so I thought you'd just call em after each mission and progress through the relationship as time went on.
But in the first place, some girls you can't call, and some you can, in a seemingly random fashion, so I just went to whoever I could at the time, but then one of the girls cut ties with me cause she thinks I'm cheating on her... Like, wtf? I wasn't even aware we were together in the first place.

I don't recall the marketing saying anything like that. Maybe what you heard was just some tag line about the story and it wasn't meant to describe the gameplay.

And dude, seeing multiple girls at the same time, what do you expect?

I wasn't seeing any of them....

I was just roaming the hub and answering the calls, the cutscenes gave me no implications that I was in a relationship with any of them, until like, near the end when I'm suddenly taking Amanda out in a dress.

And I only hung out with "Not Ping", like, once, and then the Asian chick "cheated" on me, which I would feel bad about if I knew we were a thing in the first place, cause the last time I spoke to her was when I was investigating a murder or some shit at her club and she handed me a gun.
