Played the demo of this the other day and well as 3 Ultimate to test the C-trackpad

Monster Hunter, I love playing you, but the preparation, it's too much.
It's like this brick wall preventing me from getting too into it.

You really don't have to gather that much. Only if you want to craft new weapons/armour, which you only have to do once in a while. Everything else you get by naturally playing the game (gathering during quests) or paying to multiply materials you already own (and you're never short on cash in this game). It's been ages since I last went out to gather materials. And combining items and stocking your inventory is super easy. Combining is literally the click of a button in a menu, and you can register sets of items to quickly switch out your inventory to only carry what you need.

Learn to not suck. Alternatively, save before every hunt and reset the game if you fuck up.
