Well, Sonic Team is also in charge of Nights and Phantasy Star.
I like Sonic games but I'm not as big of a fan I once was.
I guess I'd make something like Generations but with more playable characters like Tails and Knuckles.

Yes, it's quite fun, Universe too. Although I wish I could actually play them online.
(I tried Blue Burst with that program to play it on private servers, but I just couldn't start it for some reason, and I got Universe the day before the Windows servers got shut down -and I hate the fact that I need to be online when playing trough the single player campaign-).

I think it's the reason I got into Monster Hunter so easily, since they are so similar gameplay wise.

I might try PSO2 when I'll get a new PC, the only problem is that it's Japanese exclusive and I don't know Japanese, so interacting will be hard.

I've always wanted to try PSO because it's supposedly similar to Monster Hunter, but Sega are taking their sweet time with the English release of PSO2.

I take it you like the classic PSO games more than the online ones?

Phantasy Star 1 has a certain charm I can't explain, I just find it fun.
Phantasy Star 4 has great characters, a fantastic story (that almost made me cry at some point) and it's pretty much the reason I got more into anime more than I already was.
2 and 3 didn't stick to me that much, they are good story and music wise, but they feel so slow.
...and I think you can add a little nostalgia into the mix.

I have the bad feeling that will never happen, but there is an English Patch for it and there are many sites that can help you easily get into it, the game is free to play too.

I will never give up. There was a PSO2 event in Sonic Runners so that gives me a tiny sliver of hope.

Have you played any other Monster Hunter clones?
