If A Remake Happens

If Sega were to remake Sonic Adventure 2 (Meaning full on remade not that port that happened) should they add anything to the game or make some things easier? For example I'd personally like if unlocking Green Hill didn't require absolute perfection at the game.

Personally I would prefer if the fans remade a engine specifically for recreating the game instead of sega making a retextured game.
I understand why people get angry at the ports since I own both the gamecube, xla, and even the pc port.
especially now we're about to get next gen systems I feel as if segasonicteam should atleast consider how to approach it.
