Sonic Lost World: When SEGA tried to copy Super Mario Galaxy...

For everyone whom play Sonic Lost World, most players can say that Sonic Lost World copied Nintendo. Not copied completely, just the main ideas. Like the Slinging Stars are similar to the bounce pads which take you to different parts of the Hex, (or as in Super Mario Galaxy, the Sling Stars takes you to different planets). So what do you think? Do you think that Sonic Lost World copied Nintendo, or is it just a coincidence? Please share your opinions!
