No he only says that when you are at like 500 posts with 50 karma and he would think "hmm maybe i should make him a mod because we need some and this guy will do", because when I got awarded mod status They didn't need mods atm but i still got it so yeah.

lmfao, I became a mod before or right after I had ViP.  I only had like 10 karma at the time.
