I'd like to say that Meteor Smash was official in Melee as well. I got it in classic mode, it has it as one of the point things.

It actually has like five.
I've been trying to get a certain trophy which requires you to get all the bonuses and penalties.
That's where the strategy guide comes in handy.
It lists all the bonuses/penalties.
