Just like with Kadabra. To make it evolve you gotta trade it while it's holding a Twistedspoon, Porygon while holding an Up-Grade, and then again while it's holding Dubious Disc, and...some other Pokemon that I'm too lazy to think and remember what they have to hold while Trading.

i evolved my machoke just by trading it, it didnt have any items i just traded it :3

These are the trading conditions in Platinum. lol

Oh, and also Onix/Scyther/Magenton(??) holding Metal Coat will evolve.

And Rhydon holding a protector.
