It sounds like a great idea, really it does, but...

1.  I can't drive, nor will I be able to at that time, and my parents work most of the time.  They're home...late at night and that's it.

2.  My mom really wouldn't be too thrilled about me going to New Jersey anyway.  She did everything she could to keep me from going to New York, and succeeded.

3.  My mother would never let me go anywhere like that to meet up with someone from the internet.  She would FREAK OUT if I asked "hey can we go to this place on this certain day so I can meet up with someone online?"  I would never see the light of the internet again.  EVER.

And I best most members' parents would have the same mindset.

they  found me talking on msn to someone i didnt know on the internet and near ripped my eyeballs out of their sockets... how do you think they are gonna react to " im going to america to see some friends that i made one the internet... bye naow" or summit along those lines...
