Everywhere I turned, there was either a half-high dope, or they were talking about it.
My Spanish teacher leaves the classroom alot at the beginning of class for quite a long period of time to leave a high school class unattended, so the running joke is that he takes a hit before class.

Okay, how about this. Weed is illegal. Despite any moral stance on the issue, weed is illegal to buy, sell, or use outside of medicinal purposes, and even then it is monitored. A figure might just sit there, but it looks cool and it isn't illegal. And what is weed going to do to "aid" you or get anything done?

For one thing, I clearly don't care that it's illegal. Furthermore, there are plenty of places where it is, in fact, perfectly legal to grow, buy, sell, and possess.
Second, if can aid me and help me get shit done by relaxing me after a work-out, helping me get to sleep, giving me inspiration for games and other such things (protip: a lot of Sonic Adventure 3 was programmed when stoned, including the badass slope engine), and helping someone say, eat a lot of food if they're on ritalin or some shit. Ritalin really sucks. :(

If it isn't illegal where you are, then obviously I have no footing. I'm speaking as someone who lives where it is illegal. Regardless, I'm not about to do drugs. 1. Pot does not and
cannot kill you, and is not a drug
2. Wine contains alcohol, which is a drug
3. Drugs don't even mess with your brain all that bad. I have a teacher who used to be a meth addict, and she is a well-functioning member of society (editor's note: I hate society, but anyway...)
Seriously, at least do some research before you try to diss something. Pot doesn't mess with your mind that much at all. The only effect it has on your brain, or really, your body in general, is that it causes your brain to release more dopamine than it does normally, which is what makes you high.

30 years of research have shown that Marijuana is almost completely harmless. You have a better chance of OD'ing on caffeine than pot. And what do you mean you wanna know what happens in Haruhi Suzumiya, and drugs will make you forget? I HAD to be stoned to get past the Endless Eight episodes @_@.
I didn't say that alcohol wasn't a drug. I didn't say drugs would kill you. I didn't say that all drugs were instant and total killers. All I said, and this is true, that drugs affect your mind and I don't want to screw with my brain. Despite however little they mess with your head, they DO mess with your head.
