On the contrary, I don't think God woke him up at all. It was something in his subconscious that decided to wake him up. When people sleep, they are only connected to their subconscious, which controls pretty much everything about their body, or whatever the conscious mind isn't taking control of at the moment.

And who's to say that God wasn't in his subconscious? Anyway, it doesn't matter what we wish to believe, he's alive, and that's what counts.
