Starting sale is always the most expensive as big fans likes to buy it the first day it'll be more expensive for them, sonic fans with ennough money and willing to spend that money on sonic will buy the first day. Others will wait till it's discount, so if you want to get it cheap, wait till there's discount or don't buy it at all as nobody forces you.
Sonic episode 1 had a big discount day on 28december too, more than 50% off at xbox360

Its not whether or not I'm going to buy it. Its that I don't think its right for them to charge that much.

Just seeing that title screen made me squeal a bit. I just got done playing Sonic 2 for the one hundredth time and I love it. Now the screen is identical to Sonic 2's. Just seeing that gives me high hopes. With any luck, their will be more than just four zones. Multiplayer will be cool too. I sure as hell hope that the Metal Sonic boss will be good too. With any luck, they did something like Sonic CD's boss for Metal. Now I'm left to ponder the final boss.
