I know how you feel. But the thing is, when you actually have one, it changes everything. There's no way to sell something you can't show, and the 3D effect is something you can only see with your own eyes. When you do, trust me, you'll think differently.

I've played a 3DS and still don't give two shits for the 3D effect. I just want to keep up with the games...Oh, and watch Lilligant dance for me.

I played one before too. Wasn't much to me until i was able to get into it properly, if you know what I mean.
