Sonic Zone

My favorite is Xbox 360 but that's only because I haven't really played much of PS3.
When I did, I liked my 360 more still  :P

I voted for Xbox 360. I was hoping for a PsWii60 option but you know.  I'm allowed to have an opinion between the Xbox 360 and the Ps3 because I have both. I don't know enough about the Wii system.  All i know is it doesn't look cool like the ps3 and xbox 360 do.

i chose  the wii  because it has some really good games from sonic, sonic and the secret rings is ok, but they also have sega superstar tennis, and you can play all the gamecube sonic games on the wii, which means you can play sonic R, sonic the hedgehog 1, 2 ,3  etc  all classics and even more on the wii, which makes it perfect for me :P

Well i think the 360 is the winner mainly because of the long list of great games, Xbox Live and 360 gamepad is probably one of my favorite of all time.

I voted for the 360. I have both a Wii and a 360, and I personally think the 360 is better by a landslide. Of course, the Wii is great too.

Except for the Sonic games, I really don't find any fun games on the Xbox 360, I was going to buy one since i never bothered because of the fat controller  :P but then I figured I might aswell wait for the newest Xbox console, It's really not bad, just not my style I guess.

It would be hard to choose. I want the PS3 for the Ratchet and clank game, but I also want the wii for Brawl!

Then you should vote for the wii, Ratchet and Clank is by far not as good as Super Smash Bros Brawl.

the only reason Iam buying a wii is for brawl ;D and no more heroes ::)

Why? Do you like the games, or the controls? I really like Sega Superstars Tennis, It's a pretty hard game but not the kind of hard that makes you smash down your controller and be a tard for the rest of the day, lol.

Which ever one you prefer is going to be based on what you demand from your games.  If you're into more poofy fluffy smootchy games with slight hints of what could be considered violence then wii is for you. If you're more into high density graphics and extreme game play with the kind of content that would make a christian cry then PS3 and Xbox 360 is more for you.  You can also play foofy puffy nutter butter softy nuffle puffin fluffer games on the PS3 and 360 giving you a wider range than the wii gives you.  Yeah there are a few games that aren't fiffle piffy niffer poofy fluffer games but not many.  Seriously most of the games on wii would make a teddy bear puking a rainbow look like it deserves an Adult rating.  Games don't have to be violent to be fun. It just happens that the only games i find fun are violent. Please enjoy this picture...if it shows up...john...pff

Yes that's pretty much it but you also have to think about the Wii-mote, Currently many games are being developed to be played with the Wii-mote so considering which console is better also relies on the controller.

Yeah i like the more meaty controllers.  They seem to be better constructed than the flimsy controllers like the PS2 controllers which i have 5 of and only 2 work. I've only ever needed 2 sega genesis controllers and those are made of some nice strong plastic.  Oh and i'm never buying any madcatz controllers again because even though they are beefy they break within the first week or two of owning them.  I've heard the Wii-mote is well constructed so they may be a plus for some people but just looking at the design makes me thing of how difficult it would be to play any game that you need to press more than 4 buttons at once (mostly racing games according to my knowledge).  I'm still more into pc games than console games because of modding capabilities and way way way way way way better graphics and physics processing.  Both of my mice are better constucted than any console controller out there right now and my keyboard is well constructed as well even though it is a dell keyboard. oh that reminds me i want to write a rant about how much dell computers suck...

xbox 360 and wii in my opinion. ive always been a nintendo supporter and think its underrtated. just because it doesnt have good graphics like xbox 360 or ps3, i think its more fun than both. i still enjoy playing xbox live though.

Controls for the Wii should increase in playability and fun once the Motion Plus comes out.

PS3...because its what I have...and it has so much potential that hasn't been tapped yet. People are still trying to say its the worst system but with every big new game that comes out it gets more innovative and awesome, I can't wait to see what it'll be like in a few years.

Erm...try Warhawk, Resistance, Disgaea 3, The Eye of Judgement, Wipeout HD, Motorstorm, and Metal Gear Solid 4. Not to mention multiplatform games that are better on PS3 such as Burnout Paradise and Oblivion.
And in the making: Littlebigplanet, Resistance 2, Motorstorm 2, Valkyria Chronicles, White Knight Chronicles, Killzone 2, MAG, Tekken 6...and more.

The PS3 is amazing.

I voted for the PS3, I felt silly trying to play on a Wii (don't ask lol) and the 360 didn't have any games which suited my taste plus it's overheating issues sorta put me off it. I am going to get a PS3 soon. ;D

theyshould make a halo 3 for the wii using the zapper.(it would be awesome if bungee,and nintendo did do that!!!!)

The only games I got for Wii is Wii sports and Sonic Unleashed but I'm getting more games soon :)

360. Wii is terrible in my opinion, PS3 is a little glitchy and doesn't get many games. And you have "Don't like any of them" twice on the poll.

here's what ive noticed about the xbox 360,ps3 and the wii. nintendo wii has great games and its pretty durable but it doesnt have high tech graphics like ps3 or xbox 360. ps3 has awesome graphics and its durable but it doesnt have that much games out yet. xbox 360 has awesome games and graphics but its not very durable its only flaw is the rrod(red ring of death). out of the 3 i choose the xbox 360

All of them are so great. I just can't choose.

I initally liked the Wii. It was innovative, cool and had a good selection of games to choose from (Well, not really) until I bought one and now all its doing is collecting dust. Nevertheless, its a pretty cool console, especially Virtual Console and WiiWare.

The 360 is a normal console. It had nothing over the Wii to make it stand out IMO except for the line up of games and its use as a multimedia device.

The PS3 really interests me because of its powerful hardware and its great but short line up of games. Its a well rounded system and the only thing preventing me from getting it is its price.

I would really like to see a Sonic game in a similar vein like in Sonic Unleashed for another console.

I like the wii bcuz I can play on it best sonic games.

Honestly it depends on the gammers' needs....I have a Wii but I feel like I got shafted on the Wii version of SU and now I want to really play the 360 version!

All 3, I own them all, and I regret the time when I despised any of them. They're all great systems. Most people make fun of Wii for it's name and lack of swearing action porn games (which I am extremely glad for, being a bit of a child myself). The PS3 is mocked for it's lack of properly made games and the whole "enemy crab's weak point" and "RIIIIIIIDGE RAAAACER!" bits. The 360 is made fun of for the RROD and the fact that you have to shell out another 300 bucks for decent equipment along with 50 bucks a year to play online.

Great Titles (Mario Galaxy, Twilight Princess, Metroid Prime 3, etc.)

Wireless, Rechargeable, and Motion Sensing Controllers that are so small (surprising for all that in a Playstation system)
Free Online Services
Internet Browser
Blu-ray Discs (PM me if you wanna know why this is a pro, not a con)
Multi-User Interface
Great, if few, Titles (Metal Gear Solid 4, LittleBigPlanet, and Warhawk for example)
Changeable Hard-Drives

360:

A have the three of them and my favorite is PS3 and i also like the PS3 because when you play a PS3 game on a SONY TV,the game have better graphics.I buyed 360 because of HALO and WII because of Brawl and Mario games

I personally like the Xbox360 better then Wii, why? Well first of all it has more good games and less child so games. Better graphics, very great online support. The online mode to download games is the same as the Wii, so i dont know why people are complainning here...... Anyways, Wii.
The Wii is great it's nice motion control, first idea came with that game Wario Twisted for GBA. Even though that was new big thing when it came out. I bet some people were wondering will have good i mean no great games. Well yes it does! But... the last Block Buster game was SSBB ,March. And the online support is good but not so good. It could have some add-on's and extra things. The only thing that makes the shop look strong is the classic games.
Well even though the Xbox360 is better the sales of units it sold less then DSI/Wii, PS3/PSP/PS2. What PS2, how is possibly. Who knows well it atleasts sells more in Japan.
Personally i think Xbox360 wins its slightly better then Wii. Well if PS3 was included. I say PS3 would win, why?
Well i think PS3 has so much amazing games and there are still more coming this year also im very excited to hear Sony's Comfrance in the E3. Well this what makes PS3 the best and cost's more. First why it's so much? The elite Blue-Ray and it's graphics. So thats 1080 ip were talking about. And personaly the online support is the best of all, it was just good before. I think the Sim kind of looking thing powered it up. I mean that's cool chatting with online players, maybe you could ask them to play mult with you. And it's very amazing to see the online world have a city square having a arcade, fun to play bowling, pool or bizard whatever you like calling it. Theature showing off their games and trailers. And customize your character and his house rank, in everyway you can. Only faces you change in the Wii, which made it feel limited. And the PlayStation shop is good has so many add-ons and has so many demos. Last point It has so much features in it's home.
The last question is. Is it worth having it, i'm going to waste so much money. Well i have two answears for that.
First, i strongly recmond it. Second, no i don't your not allowed to play the games whitch are mostlty M and maybe T and i can't go the social online world even i though i can mind my own business or choose not to talk only to have fun.

Yes it does have lot of rated M games i think thats very cool. I'm only 14 almost 15 off tpic. I mean im 14 i still play PS3, rated M games and find nothing bad them. I really dont know why some parents don't let their kids rated M games. I learn well i did. But i don't know what i said but i think i mean is no problems when i play those type of games. So i dont know whats wrong with that i played rated M since 5 years old and dont know whats wrong with that. Even though i like these type of games doesnt mean rated E or T are bad. It really matters is good or is bad, thats the main point in videogames isn't it?
And funny it's good to see active gameplay or sitting gameplay. But i like sitting better, i play games when im lazy.
And OMG $10 for a game......... isn't the Wii Shop and Xbox360 the same price..... Lol???

I find a problem with this statement.
Why?
Because these parents don't want their kids playing games filled with Blood, Gore, Pornography, Sexuality, Racial Slurs, Profanity, Vugarity, Major Violence, and anything else that removes the human feelings of sympathy, empathy, and anything else that separates us from animals.

All 3, I own them all, and I regret the time when I despised any of them. They're all great systems. Most people make fun of Wii for it's name and lack of swearing action porn games (which I am extremely glad for, being a bit of a child myself). The PS3 is mocked for it's lack of properly made games and the whole "enemy crab's weak point" and "RIIIIIIIDGE RAAAACER!" bits. The 360 is made fun of for the RROD and the fact that you have to shell out another 300 bucks for decent equipment along with 50 bucks a year to play online.

My reasons for liking them:

Wii:
Intuitive Control
Great Titles (Mario Galaxy, Twilight Princess, Metroid Prime 3, etc.)
Low Cost
Free Online Services
Internet Browser
Very Portable (At least compared to the other 2)

PS3:
Wireless, Rechargeable, and Motion Sensing Controllers that are so small (surprising for all that in a Playstation system)
Free Online Services
Internet Browser
Blu-ray Discs (PM me if you wanna know why this is a pro, not a con)
Multi-User Interface
Great, if few, Titles (Metal Gear Solid 4, LittleBigPlanet, and Warhawk for example)
Changeable Hard-Drives

360:
Multi-User Interface
Great Titles (no examples necessary)
Changeable Hard-Drives
Component and Composite Cable Included

Yep.
The only reasons that we see new things in gaming are
1- The Developers get bored doing the same things over and over again and want to spice it up and
2- They want to stay semi-lazy, so they give us something new to get hooked on.

I agree. The XBOX 360 has great graphics and looks awesome. Yet the Wii or PS3 don't have the ring of death. But regardless I agree with you.

Graphic aren't the only thing that matter

Graphics seem to be the main marketing ploy. So one would have assumed that nintendo would step it up a little. Take the gamecube for example, It had some of the greatest graphics of its time and and many systems couldn't compete with it. But the Wii is just gamecube graphics. They basically took a gamecube and gave it a new body and integrated virtual movement. But what really bothers me is that it can't play movies >:( .

Okay, first, the Wii CAN play movies if you get Netflix. Second, the Gamecube DID NOT have the best graphic of it's generation. Sure, it looked better than the Dreamcast, but both the PS2 and the Xbox had better graphics.

I disagree. I felt that the gamecube was at least on the same level as the PS2 and xbox. But man come on, not everyone wants to pay $9.00 a month just to watch movies that aren't that great on the instant que thingy. I would rather watch one of my own movies that I enjoy, not a crappy independent movie made with a camcorder and $10.00.

Okay, but why do you care if your GAME SYSTEM can play movies? I mean, it's convenient, but that's about it.

Besides, only the PS3 play Blu-ray, so in that sense, the 360 is obsolete as well.

I guess I agree with you on the 360 being obsolete. But I just feel like all systems should be able the play movies, its the PS2 and xbox could why can't the Wii? I mean can it possibly be that hard to integrate can it?

DA WII PWNEZORZ!!!!!!!!!!!! That's the wii which inspired the creation of the playstation move (which sucks hard because SONY ripped this idea of Nintendo). The wii has a remote controller and we can point and click on the wii (basically) on the main menu, like going through channels, or playing to the classics of the old school times.

Tell me, do you want to have a blu-ray disc driver on the PS3 to look at films for better graphisms?
Forme, the quality of the graphism doesn't matter, so you take a simple disc (which is not a blu-ray disc) and you put it in the Xbox 360 and in the wii to watch films (BTW : you should be a hacker of the wii to watch films on geex box, a homebrew on the wii which reads movies and sounds).

For the Xbox 360, I don't know what will look like the NATAL thing, and as fiamonder said, there will be released on Xbox 360, SADX on the Xbox Live (if the pics he showed me on chatango weren't fake)

+ you can read gamecubes discs on the wii, do you think the PS3 and the Xbox 360 would read the PS2, PSX and Xbox games? (ok, the PSN allows us to download PSX games, but not to read them on a disc on the PS3)

The Wii can't play DVDs because it doesn't have a DVD drive. Xbox/Xbox 360 and PS2 could play DVDs because they put their games on DVD discs. The Wii doesn't use DVDs. Also, there is no way to just download an upgrade to the system that would allow it to play DVDs. It doesn't have the disc drive to play them. It would require completely new hardware. A new console.

I'd have to go with PS3, its like the Wii and 360 combined! Everything you could ever want.

Actually, thanks to the magic of homebrew it is possible to watch DVDs and listen to music CDs on your Wii. It's supposed to harm the Wii's laser, but most people have no problem with it. And since the Wii is so easy to hack, anyone can do it. The Homebrew Channel and all of it's apps is probably the only thing that justifies my purchase of a Wii.

I'm sure that isn't good for the system OR the discs. It isn't made to read those discs. Just put the friggin DVD in a PS2.

The Homebrew Channel itself isn't illegal, just some of the apps available for it are illegal, like the emulators and whatnot. And yes, it voids your warranty, but if your warranty is over anyway you have nothing to lose. And you can hack your Wii to make it practically unbrickable anyway (by creating restore points) so there is nothing to fear if you accidentally brick your console.

Sounds shady. I modded my original Xbox and some stuff isn't quite right, random glitches and lag spikes on offline games. But I couldn't resist all the burned games my friend gave me.

As long as you know how to copy and paste files onto an SD card and not trip on power cords you should be fine.

If you think a PS3 needs to be modded,then either YOU fail or have been seriously ripped off

Mine is xbox 360 I havent played alot or own one yet but from the experience I had it was awsome. When I tried the wii and ps3 the controllers wont respond when Im in the menu it does nothing atleast the ps3 moves dont own any of those either tho.

i have a wii and im quite happy with it

I have to say 360 because im a huge slpintercell fan and i got conviction and it is awesome.
